Born in Cap-Chat in the Gaspé Peninsula (Québec, Canada), Renée Chevalier holds a Master of Arts degree in painting from the University du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) under the direction of the late Pierre Ayot. She had several solos and group exhibitions. Since 2014 she participated in the International exhibition of miniature digital print 9th, 10th and in 2016, the 11th edition organized by the Artist run Centre Voix Visuelle, Ottawa, Canada. As well as the Midnight Eerie and a Mystery and a dream, events organised by the Centre of photography PhotoSynthesis LLC, Manchester, USA. In 2016 she participated in The International Contemporary Miniprint of Kazanlak, Bulgaria and the Small Print International, in collaboration with the Leicester Print Workshop, a touring exhibit in six venues in the U.K. until 2017 beginning at Attenborough Arts Centre, University of Leicester and ending in The London Print Studio, London.
Over the past twelve years,Pierre Tousignant is dedicated to fine art photography and digital printmaking. He has participated in several group exhibitions: Galerie d’art d’Outremont, Galerie Luz, Galerie Le Plateau, gallery La Castiglione in Montreal.. He has also had solo exhibitions: Galerie Kaf Art (2009) et Galerie Luz ( from 2010 to 2016 ). Some of his images are permanently visible in the Nordelec building, in Montreal.
Beverly Farley was born in Quebec City .She spent several years in Calgary, Alberta where her art career flourished. Bev joined the Federation of Canadian Artists as well as several other groups and showed her work in Stone Fish Gallery, Arts on Atlantic, Platinum Art Gallery, Cosmopolitan Gallery, Mixed Emotions Art Gallery, Elevation 1309, Blue Rock Gallery, Stampede Art Auction, as well as several other venues.Bev’s studio is at the E.K. Voland Centre D’Art where she has shown her work in several group shows. Bev has work in Viva Vida Gallery in Pointe Claire, Galerie Lamoureau & Ritzenhoff, and Galerie Luz.Private collectors as well as corporations in Quebec, Europe, Alberta, and the U.S. have purchased her work
Born in Switzerland, Béatrice Sokoloff lives in Montréal, Canada, where she is a member of Atelier Circulaire. Since 2006, Béatrice Sokoloff has been showing regularly her paintings, engravings, drawings and photographs. Béatrice Sokoloff’s works are part of public collections (Loto-Québec, BAnQ, Quebec; Museo Goeldi, Belém, Brazil; Muzeul Florean, Baia Mare, Rumania; Centre Dedalo, Castiglione, Italy) and private collections in Canada, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, England and Israel. Since the fall of 2010, she is working with Beaux-arts des Amériques Gallery in Montreal. In 2010, she was awarded the Prix international Saint-Denys Garneau , for the artist’s book “où va le jour”, with a poem by Louise Warren.
The artist was born in Boucherville, Québec where she currently lives and works. She completed a degree in the graphic arts in Montréal. After following several interships and workshops to learn different engraving techniques, she resumed a personal pictural search through engraving. She has contributed to the illustration of artist books such as that of Francine Déry, poet.
Krasi Dimtch otherwise known as Krasimira Dimtchevska is Ottawa-based visual artist who creates digital art that encrypts written texts and conceptual art exploring the structures of Language viewed as a repository of ideas. She was born in Bulgaria and holds a master’s degree from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in Poland. After immigrating to Canada, Krasi dedicated herself fully to the study of the generative powers of Language and its role in the thought-creation process. In 2013 she was granted a patent for methods for natural language generation (CIPO – Patent 2704163) after which she started to make art again. Since then she has participated in 13 group exhibitions, some of those exhibitions are: 2016 Electron Salon, Los Angelis Center for Digital Art (USA); 2015 Papier Marche, Galerie 2456, (Montreal); 2015 International Exhibition of digital printing 10th edition, Voix Visuelle (Ottawa); 2014 “Free Speech & Free Art”- Nuit Blanche Ottawa-Gatineau.
