Jibé Laurin

Jibé Laurin’s interest for nature, textures, line drawing and transparency has guided her toward diversified artistic projects combining those themes. In this exhibition, she juxtaposed line ink drawings on polyester with old and torn street posters and color plastic films.

Jibé Laurin has participated in a collective exhibition at the Maison de la Culture Frontenac in 1994. This is her first solo exhibition. She has studied Graphic Design at Ahuntsic College and completed a Bachelor in Fine Arts with major in Design Art at Concordia University. She works and lives in Montreal.
